so anybody up for some halo?

I just got a 360 last week. Yeah, waste of money am I right? lol. Anyways, maybe I can play with J.L and beat his ass in NBA Live '08 or maybe I'll get schooled by him. The only reason why I bought a 360 is because of Halo 3. I don't know why. Maybe it was the hype, maybe it was because I needed to finish the series.......I just needed to play it right away.

I'm going to get the legendary edition later today. I will post impressions soon.

Besides games, Heroes 2nd season premiere was kind of lame. It's turning into Lost in that they are putting too many questions already into the first episode and no answers. For example, why is the little girl a bitch? No answer.

On the movie side, my brother and I just watched "Eastern Promises". Remarkable movie. If Viggo doesn't get Oscar nominated for that role, then the Oscars are damned.

okay, I'm going a bit overboard

I recently just bought a Wii, a 8800GTS video card, and some PS3 games. And I think I am now going into crazy mode. I just bought the collector's edition of Stranglehold for the PS3 and the legendary edition of Halo 3. "Wait, you don't have a 360?" Well.....not yet, but I wll very soon. Yes, it is a lot, A LOT, of money. But since I didn't make the cut this quarter, I could spend just a little bit of my money. I will start to save after the over-splurging. No more games for me after Mass Effect.

But yeah, I'm now too game crazy now. I shouldn't be thinking about games, mostly about my career, but I think I can hold off for a while.

And I am a goddamn idiot. You probably know from big brother that I am a class AAA dumbass for not taking care of my situation. What is that situation you ask? I have not graduated yet. You can stop shouting "Wency is a dumbass" now. I just didn't have the time to finish the assignments in this one class. All I had time for was several questions per assignment and the group project.

Anyways, I'm now currently looking for a college nearby (including Chicago) so that I can finish the remaining three hours left.

Just yesterday, my dad just took a huge fucking hammer and smashed me to pieces. He keeps on telling me if I have a plan. I didn't yesterday, but after sleeping at 8pm, I know what he was telling me. So, here is my plan. Finish the remaining credits (hopefully through Depaul University), secure my graduation with Illinois State, find a job, and move out of the house by next summer. That is my plan. I do hope that out of all the plans I make, this one won't fail.

What I did like through all the dad's shouting, he said that he won't pay for the remaining schooling. For some odd reason, I was relieved because I wanted to pay it myself. I also want to take my PLUS loans off his shoulders because he cannot stop talking about it. I think when I start paying that loan, he would not talk about it anymore.

I just wanted to get that off my chest. I hate how my brother talks about it like it is his problem. At least, he is papa's "favorite" now. lol.

Gaming-wise, I finished Bioshock during the week. It is truly a masterpiece when it comes to presentation. I had purchased a 8800GTS just to play this game on my monitor. Sure it is a waste of money, but it performs better (of course) with the newer card.
