pope john paul
It looks like he is going to pass away soon. They read him his last rites today. This is sad news. Pray for his journey to Heaven.

video editing software
I've also decided that I'll be using Adobe Premire and Adobe After Effects to re-edit my movie. The hard part will be trying to learn how to do stuff using those programs. Just thinking about it......oh man......this is going to be awesome.
re-edit of I Against I
I've decided that I'll be re-editing I Against I. It'll have a new title, better editing, better sound mixing with better music than MGS2, and it will be in widescreen (well we'll see about that). However, this all depends if the original footage still exists.
Or maybe I'll remake it.

god must be telling me something
**I bought another one, but this time only a 40gig version. I really don't need that much anyway.
My PS2 hard drive died on me just now. I must have accidentally shocked the board. No worries. They are just games. I still had two games to finish. Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando and Brothers in Arms. Oh well. I think it is back to square one.

bk sandwich
That new Burger King omelete sandwich looks very tasty. It's a shame BK doesn't exist here at ISU. I'll be planting that artery-clogging sandwich right in my mouth asap.

another idea
I got another idea for the movie. It's about a hitman who lived double lives. He is currently divorced with a child who is 20 or so. He gave up the hitman business long ago. During his hitman days, he does a hit, little does he know that it is actually the son of a huge crime boss. Years later, the crime boss finally receives info on who killed his won and captures his child and ex-wife and will kill them unless he does a couple of jobs. The hitman now needs to go back and do what he knows best: kill.
Still sounds a bit iffy, but with my brother pouring in ideas (which he hasn't done) it could be better.

ideas for movie & pacquiao morales fight
I'm starting to get some great ideas for the hitman movie my brother and I are going to make. I'm thinking of a hitman who doesn't use guns, but ordinary objects. At least this way, we don't need any guns in the film. Maybe the plot should be that he hasn't killed in a long time, but certain forces are bringing him back. Yeah its cliched, but after listening to my brother's impressions on Unforgiven, that plot just sounds so awesome. I'm thinking of having the hitman do a job, but what he doesn't know is that it will probably be his toughest job ever. The hit knows that an assassin was ordered to kill him so the hit sends an assassin of his own. We would see an epic battle between two assassins, maybe three.
It's all ideas though. I hope some of them get carried on.
I've been listening to this trailer music, Dionysus. This would be perfect trailer music for the movie we are making, absolutely perfect.
As for the Pacquiao/Morales fight, damn that was a great match. This is truly one of boxing's finest. Two great fighters. I rooted for Pacquiao (even though I knew he would lose). I still think he is too cocky with his fists. He needs to learn some strategy. Morales just kept pounding him with straights.

today
Sorry about the lack of updates. I've been working on homework and testing out some new games. I got TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, Cold Fear, and Brothers in Arms. I even finished Xenosaga II. All I have to say about that game is that it is boring. I was thinking it would be as good or even surpass the first episode, but it didn't. Anyways, the PSP comes out today. Cool stuff. I won't get one for a while or maybe I won't get one at all. It depends.
I think I have some serious memory problems because I could not find my wallet today. I arrived late to class because I was frantically looking for it. It was in between my bed and the frame which is a weird place to find it. I even lost my watch. I have no idea where I placed it.
g2g. I have to finish this take home exam paper.

back from spring break
I received a harsh reality check tonight.......a much needed one. It totally threw me off. I'm really pissed at myself for doing this. I can't say what, but damn.....reality bit me in the ass and munched on it.

i need money fast
I cannot wait to work this summer. Hopefully that new Wall-Mart will hire me, the key word is hopefully. I really want to get a psp. I know I said that I would prefer to buy parts for a desktop, but that psp looks sweet to have.
I can't believe the cost of riding on the bus went up. It's now $6 more to ride roundtrip to Oakbrook. That's a lot people......that's a McD meal right there. It's great that this would be my last ride home, that means I won't have to spend money on these trips. One more day and I'm on break. Video game vacation, here I come.

the jacket
I thought this was a great film. The only thing that bothered me is the time travel notion. I swear every movie that deals with time ends up upside down. This movie is no exception. The story seems unoriginal but its still decent. It's about a person who tries to understand what is happening. He knows what will happen and so will try to do what he can, but the catch is that he is not trying to change his future. He is just wants to know why. There are major plot holes as with every time travel movie. So who cares if there are flaws? It's still a decent watch. Plus Keira is in it, she sounds hot with that american accent (only the end though.....her voice during the movie sounds like a druken slob).
that smells good
**Yeah there are some parts where people actually live in filth. But isn't there a saying that someone's trash might be someone's treasure? For them, its good enough. But I don't live in those areas nor was I raised up in a rich area. Anyways, yes, there is smog in the Philippines, mainly from the diesel gas the cars still use. But it is the same thing as saying "I love the smell of gasoline." So technically, I love the smell of the smog of the Philippines or how it smells in general, that nice summer smell.
The smell of the Philippines is in the air tonight, and it smells good. It brings back great memories.

alone in the dark
I got a chance to watch this disaster. I thought Alien Vs. Predator was bad, but this movie is even worse. It just goes off in so many directions that it starts to lose focus. In the beginning of the movie, there is this fight scene which I could not understand why there was one. He was going against a super natural human of some sort. Anyways, the there is a plot with a group of orphans being experimented on. The problem with this is that the movie doesn't flow with this one as it just pushes it aside. The orphans just get killed by the "paranormal" group. End of orphan plot ends there. Nothing special about them. I was seriously laughing because it just doesn't make any sense when a paranormal group called 713 (why 713? I have no idea) uses guns to extinguish the evil beings. There was this one scene where the bad guy was injecting himself with the blood of one of those things, but it made no sense as it gave him nothing special. He was killed instantly by a thrown knife. Oh yeah, those things. The movie made no explanation of what those things were. They are just the evil "xenos". It was confusing because 713's priority is to hunt these things down. The question is how do they get out? There was also this scene out on a boat. They lifted up a huge box made of gold, but it looked like it was made by a high school artist (every artifact looked like they did). When they opened the box, the crew was attacked by some unknown force. Yet when one of the characters comes out of hiding, nothing is to be found and the entire crew is dead. It makes no sense. There was another laughable scene when you have this horribly made CG sequence with the actors. This scene was just awful to look at. What makes matters worse is that there is a sex scene. What is funny is that a couple of scenes later, you see the two talking to each other like the sex never happened. LOL. There was another stupid scene where one of the squad tries to find another squad member. He sees her legs shaking. He then notices that her head has been split open and her brain guts are spewing out. Now, as biology has told me, the body can't operate without the brain. Yet how can a body still breathe when the brain is obliterated? Then the story changes to that 713 has been behind the entire thing which makes no sense of course because the movie had no evidence to back it up. Another thing about those beings is that they just come out from nowhere. Suddenly there would be dozens of them coming out from nowhere. Even the ending is horrible. The viewer is treated to a "city evacuated" message on the screen. Yet the main character explains that this might be a recreation of what happened thousands of years ago when all the people vanished. Which, of course, makes no sense because the viewer has no idea what is going on.
How can anyone have the balls to release this piece of garbage? I hope Uwe Boll never makes another video game movie. I also hope that the screenwriters who wrote this piece of crap kill themselves for eating their own shit in coming up with an idea like this. I bet I could write a better screenplay, something along the lines of atmospheric horror and not an action film. The video game was not like this at all. Putting that "based on the atari video game" is bullshit. The only thing they took from the video game was the name. That is it.

I watched this Thailand horror flick this morning. Sure it's a Ringu ripoff, but for some reason, it works.
There were some scenes that I jumped at, but this could be due that I'm wearing headphones. Like I said, most of this movie is unoriginal especially the ending, but it has a certain twist that I liked.

devil may cry 3 & white noise
I finally beat Devil May Cry 3. That was an intense game, intense meaning frustrating. It took a couple of tries on a couple of missions, but it was worth it. I've been reading on forums on the comparison between this game and ninja gaiden. Most of the discussion is between xbox and ps2 fanboys, so it didn't go anywhere. I don't think they should compare games like these. They are so different in comparison. I started a couple of missions on easy. This mode is a godsend compared to Normal. I barely get any damage and the enemies do not seem as aggressive.
I watched White Noise late last night. It was a pretty decent movie until the end of the movie. The end just became absurd. It starts going off track from the very beginning of the movie. The movie uses E.V.P., electronic voice phenomenon, but instead of using just voice recording, it introduces images from white noise which is not E.V.P. from what I read. EVP is voice, not imaging. This movie isn't scary at all, it doesn't develop a sense of dread like most foreign horror films. I jumped one time, but it was that Sixth Sense scare. If it wasn't for the end of the movie, it would have been at least a decent watch, but because of it, I can't recommend this film.

shit
Here I sit before my computer procrastinating as usual. In a couple of hours, my paper is due and all I have are ideas. I think the problem is that I can't get a good start on it. After reading comments on earlier papers, my teacher wants me to write a paper based on arguments. It's kind of hard to do that when you have hundreds of pages to go through.
Eh, bullshit. I'm just making excuses. I should have started this days ago, but instead, I worked on other homework.
Just found out that Advent Children is being released March 14, 2005. Awesome news.

lost episode 18
Another remarkably done episode of Lost. Viewers finally get to watch the backstory of Hurley. Freaky stuff I tell you. It's a bit funny at the same time because it reminded me of Feng Shui (omg I made a filipino movie reference). The person has good luck while people around them have bad luck or die. Good episode. I wonder what happens next episode.
I have no idea since I watch the hdtv versions. The tv reception here is crap since the connection is split into hundreds of rooms.
