monotony

Just finished watching a couple of movies at the start of the weekend.

First was the movie "The Myth" starring Jackie Chan. Another entertaining film that makes up for his American flops. This should be a note to Jackie: Don't make American films. This movie reminded me of another movie which I can't remember at the moment. Jackie Chan's character, Jack, has been getting the same recurring dream for several months. His dream goes back in time and he is a general of an army. As he saves a Korean concubine, he wakes up. Later on, his friend, William, informs him of an archelogy site he might be interested in. This is the start of the adventure. It gets really sad the end too. Almost teared up, but my manliness held up.

Next up was the japanese film, "Kamikaze Girls." It's actually a great film. This movie is absolutely just random and weird, but the weird thing is, it fits. It has lots of style and just pure fun. Plus, you have to love that cute actress, Kyôko Fukada. Absolutely hilarious to see a girl in those lolita dresses. This film is about change and whether you are going to accept it or not. This picture I posted is just how weird this film is.

And lastly comes "Lilya 4-Ever". Another great film from Russia. It proves how sick the world is. It made me stop my habit......if you know what I mean. It's a really sad movie in which a pretty girl, Lilya (hence the title), gets thrown into the pits of prostitution because of her messed up friend's lie. If you have a friend that can backstab you like that, you have to reconsider who your friends are. Because goddamn, that friend is a total bitch. The only way out of her situation is death, but the question is, "Will she?". Watch the movie to find out.

Other than movies, I've just been playing videogames and working on a paper due Monday. Games like Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Spartan: Total Warrior, Jak X: Combat Racing, and Fahrenheit (yet again) have been taking much of my time. I finished that new Bond game in a measly five hours so I suggest you rent it first before thinking of buying it. I'm holding off on playing Resident Evil 4 until Thanksgiving break so that I'll be totally focused on that game for the duration of the week. And that new Matrix game is coming out. Hopefully, it doesn't suck like Enter the Matrix did. How the hell can you release a game as buggy as that? Echoing in the cutscenes? Getting stuck in the door? What was that? Path of Neo better be good.

As for life itself, I still don't have the courage to talk to women. I'm sorry, but I just can't. I don't have the confidence to do so. And please don't help me. There is no way that it is going to happen. I don't care anymore. I have more important things to think about. Yes, women are amazingly beautiful, but I just don't have the capabilities to even talk to one. It'll be hilarious though. To actually become the 40-year old virgin.....seriously. That movie spoke to me. If you think of Christian as a movie, think of "The 40-year old Virgin".
