closer

Wow, this was a weird movie. It felt like a black comedy, but at some points of the film, it felt like a drama. I couldn't decide which. The movie has a crapload of memorable quotes. For example, (this isn't word for word, just from the top of my head):

How's his cum?
Like yours, but sweeter.

But seriously, the movie displays that truth hurts and our emotions cannot be held back. These four people go back and forth undecided on whom they want to be with. The problem I see in this film is the time frame of certain scenes. Sometimes it would be years, maybe days, months. It's hard to keep track.

One other thing that the film implies is that sex changes everything. Once sex is included in a conversation or a relationship, everything changes. And what is sex? Is sex love or is sex sex? A person wouldn't know until they had a taste of it themselves.

The instant messenger scene between Jude Law and Clive Owen was hilarious though.
